We are looking for a welcoming and professional Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression for our guests. As the Host, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a smooth flow of service.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere

• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently

• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus

• Maintain an organized waiting list and manage wait times effectively

• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service

• Answer phone calls and handle inquiries about the restaurant and reservations

• Assist with organizing and setting up the dining area

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station

• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly

• Assist with special requests and accommodations for guests

• Always uphold health and safety regulations

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

General Physical Demands for the Position:

• Hosts will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
