Bartender
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wines, along with a friendly and engaging personality.
Essential Functions:
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers at the bar and tables
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses and bar utensils
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and make recommendations
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and health and safety standards
- Assist in opening and closing duties as required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- Must be 18 years of ageGeneral
Physical Demands for the Position:
Bartenders will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
