Responsibilities
- Carefully press and finish shirts using professional pressing equipment, ensuring crispness and proper presentation.
- Inspect garments for stains, wrinkles, or defects, and perform necessary touch-ups or notify supervisors of any issues.
- Follow specific instructions regarding fabric type, customer preferences, and pressing techniques to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with basic laundry and dry cleaning processes when needed to support overall garment care.
- Handle customer requests courteously, providing excellent service and addressing any special pressing needs.
- Keep accurate records of garments processed, completed tasks, and any special instructions received.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly preferred, especially roles involving garment care or laundry services.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning, laundry operations, and garment finishing techniques is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions or processing payments accurately.
- Experience with cleaning procedures, including stain removal and fabric care, is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
