The Move-In Coordinator plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless transition for new residents and their families. This position manages all aspects of the move-in process—from the initial deposit through Day 1 arrival—ensuring an exceptional, hospitality-driven experience. The Move-In Coordinator partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Nursing, Operations, to prepare all departments for a successful move-in and positive first impression.
Responsibilities of Move-In Coordinator:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new residents and families from acceptance through arrival.
Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level onboarding experience that reflects the community’s culture and service standards.
Schedule welcome visits, tours, introductions, and orientation sessions.
Provide Day-of-Move-In support, greet residents and families, ensure rooms are set up correctly, and coordinate with staff to ensure a smooth transition.
Qualifications of Move-In Coordinator:
Experience in senior living, hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to multitask and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using CRM systems, electronic health records, and basic office software.
Passion for serving seniors and supporting families through emotional transitions.
