Current Opportunity: Oxford Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Special Education Paraprofessional for a fully remote assignment. Virtual services will be delivered via a Zoom based virtual classroom. This is an up to 35 hour per week position with a highly competitive hourly rate.
What it Looks Like:
- Instructional Support
- Work 1:1 with student as determined by Special Education teacher and as required by student IEP
- Topics/Activities to be determined by Special Education teacher
- May provide push in support as directed by SEED Administrator
- Participation in Curriculum
- Run daily reports for students in Approaching Alarm/Alarm
- Contact families who are in Alarm for Contacts – log contact
- Contact families who are in Alarm for Attendance – remind CT how to log
- Follow up with families for STs who have missed 3 Live Lessons in a row
- Participation in Supplemental Programs
- Run weekly reports for student participation/progress in iReady or other SISP
- Contact families of Adapted/Alt Ed families who aren’t participating in required 3x weekly iReady
- Review iReady progress for students who have failed a topic
- Arrange reteaching session for failed topic(s)
- Progress Monitoring
- Administer formative assessments to students to gauge progress on IEP goals
- Report progress and data to Special Education teacher
- Support students in completing Benchmark assessments 3x per year
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous Paraprofessional experience required
- Bachelors Degree
- Undergo Live Scan/DOJ Fingerprint Scanning with Oxford Consulting
- Experience in virtual setting (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
