Oxford Consulting Services is currently interviewing for a School Psychologist to provide k-12 school-based services. Providers will work one on one with students, as well as other staff members and disciplines to provide customized programs and intervention to meet each students goals and needs. Job Details:
- Conducts individual evaluations and diagnoses
- Provides guidance and assistance to clients with learning, behavior and other needs
- Provides necessary support in developing unique individual programs to overcome learning disabilities.
- Competently providing reassessments of clients needs when appropriate
- Assist with program guidance in regards to client learning, child development and child management to parents, teachers, administrators and other staff as deemed necessary.
- Take an advisory and consultative approach with school administration, teachers, and parents
- Effective and efficient communication of knowledge and ideas regarding best practices both orally and in writing; maintains effective interpersonal relationships and communication in a professional manner
- Performs other duties as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
- New Jersey Psychology License
- Master's in School Psychology
- Certified School Psychologist
- 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18
- Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
