Secondary Certified Teaching Position (187 days)
Location: Oxford Middle School
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently holds a renewable State of Alabama Career Technical Education Teacher Certification OR willingness to obtain a State of Alabama Career Technical Education Teacher Certification within the first two (2) years of employment
- Education and Required Work Experience in Technical Education; Engineering & Technology:
- (Option 1) Less than a Bachelor’s degree, 5,400 clock hours or 3 years completed within 7 years OR
- (Option 2) Bachelor’s degree or higher, 3,600 clock hours or 2 years completed within 5 years OR
- (Option 3) no specified education, 18,000 clock hours or 10 years
- Verification of work experience in Engineering & Technology
- Must pass the Career Technical Education Skills Assessment
- Must complete and pass all required trainings and certifications
- Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by the Alabama State Board of Education
SALARY RANGE: Per System Salary Schedule
