Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Job Summary: To work with and counsel clients regarding their food and nutritional needs. Development of meal plans, assessing dietary and health needs, gauging the effects meal plans, and explaining other nutritional issues with clients. Promoting proper nutrition through workshops and in-house programs.

Status: Part-Time, Hourly Commission

Job Duties:

• Completes First Aid / CPR Certification within 90 days of start date.
• Provides a high level of personalized attention to members.
• Schedules appointments with clients.
• Creates customized nutritional plans for clients.
• Responds to member inquiries in a prompt manner.
• Develops and promotes special nutrition educational events, workshops, and programs to the Club Membership.
• Stays current with nutrition and dietary research.
• Maintains Registered Dietitian (RD) license.
• Work with food and beverage team to develop healthy, nutritional menu offerings.
• Attends scheduled departmental meetings and educational training sessions, as required.
• Supports supervisors and fellow staff in providing quality programs and services to our Members as well as incorporating an atmosphere where we are constantly striving to exceed one’s expectations.

Education & Training:

· Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Nutrition

· Current Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure credentials

· Accreditation with Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Work Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years work experience in Nutrition counseling.

· Experience in two or more areas of the following: Community nutrition, sports nutrition, clinical nutrition research, pediatric nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, geriatric nutrition

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
