Penn's Grove Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Girls Lacrosse program. The ideal candidate will inspire young athletes to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and promote a love for the game. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement practice plans that enhance player skills and game strategies.
• Conduct tryouts and select team members based on skill level, attitude, and teamwork.
• Organize and oversee all team activities, including practices, games, and tournaments.
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture that encourages sportsmanship and personal growth.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team updates and expectations.
• Monitor player attendance and maintain accurate records of performance and progress.
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to promote the overall athletic program.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during practices and games.
• Encourage academic success and balance between athletics and education.
• Serve as a role model for athletes, emphasizing the importance of respect, commitment, and hard work.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience in lacrosse or related sports, preferably at the middle school level.
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to achieve their personal best.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the season).
• A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for practices and games.
• A background check will be required prior to employment.
