Oxbow High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Boys Soccer Coach for the upcoming fall season.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with student-athletes and helping them develop their soccer skills, confidence, sportsmanship, and love for the game. The successful candidate will create a positive and inclusive team environment while emphasizing character, teamwork, and personal growth.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and leading daily practices
Coaching games throughout the fall season
Teaching fundamental soccer skills and game strategy
Promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect
Communicating effectively with student-athletes, families, and school staff
Ensuring a safe and positive experience for all participants
Following school, district, and VPA policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous coaching or playing experience in soccer
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and mentor middle school student-athletes
Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Successful completion of required background checks and district hiring requirements
