Jig and Fixture Builder

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Jig & Fixture Builder to join our team. This position is responsible for building, validating, maintaining, and repairing weld fixtures, jigs, and tooling used for production of agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication skills, be able to interpret engineering drawings, and work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build weld fixtures, jigs, and tooling from engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform complex measuring, layout, of fixture components
• Modify and repair existing fixtures to support production improvements
• Troubleshoot fixture-related issues and recommend solutions
• Verify fixture dimensions and functionality to ensure product quality and repeatability
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in fabrication, welding, machining
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Knowledge of machining processes and measurement tools
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Neat and organized work habits
• Proficiency with MIG welding and metal fabrication equipment
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building weld fixtures or manufacturing tooling
• Experience in agricultural, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing
