Dry Ice Operator

OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is -headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 23 stores in WA, ID and OR.

• Job Summary:** Operate and maintain dry ice pellet and block equipment in accordance with operator's manual.
  
  

Duties Include

• Loading and packaging dry ice daily in accordance with quality standards.
• Operating a pallet jack or forklift to maneuver dry ice boxes as required to meet production needs.
• Complying with all established safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues with dry ice production equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members and other personnel.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
  
  

Requirements Include

• Able to operate a forklift; general knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.
• Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
• Able to communicate effectively, visually and verbally with internal and external contacts.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stand, stoop, knell, crouch or crawl, sit, climb or balance.
• Work Environment-some outside.
• Will regularly be required to lift up to 50 poundsand frequently be required to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Salary Range:** Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr.)
