In this role, you’ll operate as a trusted advisor, applying broad technical knowledge and communication skills to translate complex requirements into smart, secure solutions. You'll drive platform implementation and optimization, shape solution architectures, and work directly with business and technical stakeholders across sectors such as government, defense, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security services
- Atlassian Expertise: Deep knowledge of Atlassian product suite with experience in installation, configuration, customization, and enterprise-scale deployments
- Database Management: Advanced SQL skills with experience in multiple database platforms (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- Systems Administration: Proven expertise in both Windows Server and Linux administration, including automation and scripting
- Programming: Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java, C#, or similar)
- DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code
- Infrastructure as Code: Expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similar tools
Professional Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 7 years of hands-on technical experience in enterprise environments
- 3 years of direct client-facing consulting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to technical and executive audiences
- Strong project management capabilities with experience leading technical teams
- Professional certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Atlassian certifications)

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale solutions across on-premise, AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Architect and deploy Atlassian product suites (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) including customization, integration, and optimization
- Administer Windows and Linux environments, including server management, security hardening, and performance tuning
- Create automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, and Ansible
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to streamline development and deployment processes
- Write custom scripts and applications in multiple programming languages to solve complex business problems
Client Engagement & Communication
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders during engagements
- Conduct technical assessments and provide strategic recommendations to C-level executives
- Lead client workshops, technical deep-dives, and solution design sessions
- Deliver comprehensive project status reports and technical documentation to diverse audiences
- Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders
- Manage client expectations and ensure successful project outcomes
Problem Solving & Innovation
- Analyze complex technical challenges and develop innovative, scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot critical production issues across multi-platform environments
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives
