In this role, you’ll design and optimize scalable, secure data pipelines that support real-time business decision-making. You'll collaborate with enterprise architects, application owners, and business stakeholders to align data strategies with mission-critical goals across public sector, healthcare, and highly regulated commercial organizations.

Build, Optimize, and Scale
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows
- Optimize data queries, storage, and processing to support both real-time and batch use cases
- Transform raw data into structured formats for analytics, reporting, and decision-making
Enable Secure, Governed Data Access
- Implement encryption, access control, and audit logging in alignment with enterprise security standards
- Maintain compliance with data governance frameworks and evolving regulations
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to ensure trusted, secure data sharing
Integrate and Align
- Partner with architects and SMEs to design integrated data solutions that align with enterprise data strategies
- Ensure consistent, accurate data flow across enterprise systems—cloud and on-prem
- Document pipelines, workflows, and models for transparency, auditability, and long-term scalability
Monitor and Improve
- Set up automated monitoring for pipeline health, data integrity, and system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline or infrastructure issues quickly to maintain uptime
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements across data environments
Consult and Communicate
- Translate complex data engineering concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and executive audiences
- Contribute to enterprise initiatives across ITSM, Agile, and DevSecOps environments
- Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand Oxalis’ data services
Train and Support
- Assist in onboarding users, enabling teams to adopt and leverage data tools effectively
- Own the full lifecycle of data solutions—from design through implementation and support
- 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, platform management, or data integration
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
- Expertise in dimensional modeling, data transformation, and ETL/ELT development
- Solid command of version control (e.g., Git), SQL, and scripting languages like Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a consultative mindset
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or Prefect
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming)
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance best practices
- Exposure to Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align) in DevOps or data contexts
- Agile, ITIL, SAFe, or PMP certifications
- Experience in consulting, pre-sales, or solution architecture roles
