As a Principal Consultant, Maritime Accounts at Oxalis, you will lead and grow our relationships with key customers in this sector, ensuring we deliver daily value, long-term partnership, and sustained impact.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on customer success, engagement growth, and operational excellence. You’ll drive account strategy, guide high-performing delivery teams, and shape new opportunities to modernize how these vital organizations operate.
- Customer Success & Strategic Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of maritime and naval sector customers, ensuring high satisfaction, renewal, and expansion
- Lead discovery and engagement efforts, identifying new opportunities for products and services
- Own the customer relationship from pre-sale through delivery—ensuring alignment, clarity, and outcomes at every stage
- Navigate complex procurement environments, contributing experience-informed insights to customers, partners, and internal teams
- Consulting Leadership
- Lead teams of consultants and technical specialists, setting direction and ensuring excellence in delivery
- Oversee multiple engagements within your portfolio, managing scope, risk, and quality to ensure successful outcomes
- Drive solution design and execution—from initial scoping to post-implementation support and enablement
- Ensure deliverables reflect the quality and thought leadership that Oxalis is known for
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, shaping future-state processes and aligning technology to business goals
- Develop and deliver polished customer-facing deliverables and presentations that communicate complex concepts with clarity
- Lead conversations with stakeholders across all levels, fostering long-term trust and credibility
- Business Operations & Internal Leadership
- Partner with other Oxalis leaders to support internal operations, process development, and strategic growth
- Contribute to business development planning and support pursuit efforts with new and existing customers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles, with strong team and engagement leadership
- Proven track record of growing accounts and securing repeat business through exceptional service delivery
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to travel as needed
- Comfortable working effectively in hybrid and remote environments
- Proven track record in account management, customer success, or managed services operations in a consulting business.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS products, including Atlassian products.
- Hands-on experience with IFS products and modules in both remote and cloud deployments.
- Experience in enterprise program governance, project and portfolio management, and PMO’s.
- Demonstrated experience in engagement leadership that lead to additional engagements.
- Demonstrated experience applying Agile concepts and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps, and ITSM.
- Certifications and accreditations in Atlassian, IFS, SAFe, ITIL, and PMP.
- Proficiency in project management concepts and tools, including planning, estimation, and risk management.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
- Ownership and accountability for personal and professional growth, work quality, and relationships.
