Procurement Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Procurement Manager is responsible for purchasing all goods and services required to support Production, Maintenance, EH&S and the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Promotion of a safe working environment 
• Procurement of Fiber required to support customer orders 
• Procurement of Chemicals and dyes required to support customer orders
• Procurement of MRO goods and services to support production
• Maintain MRO budget spend per month
• Create, record & retain CER projects and purchases documentation
• Coordination of fiber deliveries with Supplier, Carriers, Receiving dept and offsite Warehouse personnel.
• Create and record Inbound Shipment Call out’s for fiber
• Maintain and record inventory levels for fiber, chemicals and dyes
• Purchase and maintain inventory level of expense consumable items used in production
• Approve payment processing for offsite warehouse labor
• Record and retain receipt transactions & provide receipt documentation to AP dept.
• Provide month end support to AP for reconciliation of receipts for payment processing
• Negotiate and control local contracts
• Monitor and maintain monthly spend as per General Manager key indicators
• Implement and manage bill of materials
