Schedule: Monday–Thursday, Full-Day (typically 8:00 AM – 3:30PM), Potentially additional hours

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Assistant 3-year-old Preschool 1/2-Day Teacher to join our early childhood team. This individual will support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality care and instruction to preschool-aged children while maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities
- Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development
- Supervise children during play, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher, children, and parents
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and school policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or CDA preferred)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic
- Ability to meet all state health and safety requirements, including background check and TB test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education
- CPR/First Aid certified
