About the Role
Ownership Is The Future is seeking dynamic Ownership Instructors to bring our proven, proprietary curriculum to public high school students in the Crown Heights and Canarsie sections of Brooklyn, in Harlem, and in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx for this January 2026-June 2026. This is a servant leadership opportunity for experienced entrepreneurs and educators who want to empower young people with the tools of ownership, entrepreneurship, and wealth-building.
Responsibilities
- Teach one class period daily using our proprietary, research-based curriculum.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and entrepreneurs to refine practice.
- Support students in preparation for signature events: the Ownership Ideas Festival and the Ownership Expo.
- Provide additional coaching to help students grow in confidence, skills, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Report on class progress and maintain strong communication with school staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven entrepreneurial success (built, scaled, or managed a successful venture).
- Demonstrated success teaching public high school students with measurable impact.
- Ability to build strong relationships with principals, assistant principals, and teachers.
- A heart for engaging high school students and cultivating an ownership mindset.
- A deep commitment to equity and transformation in underserved communities.
