Duties
- Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring timely delivery
- Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Clear and clean tables by bussing dishes and resetting for new guests
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or large trays of food
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
