We are growing our Survey team in Columbia, MO and looking for a Team Leader to help lead what’s next.
This role is for someone who is already leading in some capacity - running crews, guiding field work, helping solve problems - and is ready to take a bigger step. Not just doing the work, but helping shape how it’s delivered and how the team grows.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in delivering survey work from field to finish, supporting crews, staying close to projects, and helping ensure things run smoothly across the board.
Along The Way, You’ll
- Lead and support survey crews in the field and office
- Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, budget)
- Work alongside engineers and clients to keep projects moving
- Help mentor and develop team members
- Contribute to how the team operates and grows
- Be involved in a mix of field work, coordination, and problem-solving
- Experience leading survey crews or coordinating field work
- A few years of experience in land surveying (crew chief, party chief, or similar)
- PLS is a plus, but not required - we’ll support you if it’s a goal
- Comfort working across field and office environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A sense of ownership: you care about the work, your team, and doing things the right way
