Group Leader/ Instructors/ Tutor For After-School Program

Group Leaders for after-school programs are responsible for actively assisting in instruction and helping students with their academic work

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Classroom Management ( Managing 8-12 students at a time)
• Assist with classroom instruction in a variety of subject areas (ELA/ Math)
• Take student attendance and responsibly supervise snack-time and dismissal for your assigned group of students
• Lead students safely throughout the building when transitioning between activities
• Collaborate positively and professionally with co-workers
• Actively assist with positive behavior management in a professional manner
• Be flexible, demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help others
• Communicate clearly and positively with students, co-workers, and supervisors
• Able to come up with educational activities for students.
• MUST be available, on-time, and prepared to work Monday-Friday for your scheduled shift. PM Shift: 2PM-5PM.

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 1 year of prior experience working directly with students. Good Classroom management skill
• Senior in College or BA or BS or similar preferred
