Service Technician — Petroleum Pumps & Fueling Equipment
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team and support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of petroleum pumps and related fueling equipment. This role is hands-on, field-oriented, and ideal for a technician who takes pride in solving problems, working independently, and keeping customer equipment operating safely and reliably.
The right candidate will bring a strong mechanical foundation, comfort with electrical controls and wiring, and the ability to respond professionally to service needs in the field.
Responsibilities
This position involves field service work and may require working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role may involve lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, standing for extended periods, and using tools and equipment typical of petroleum service work. You must be able to work safely around fueling systems and follow all required PPE and site procedures.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team and support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of petroleum pumps and related fueling equipment. This role is hands-on, field-oriented, and ideal for a technician who takes pride in solving problems, working independently, and keeping customer equipment operating safely and reliably.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation support for petroleum equipment and related devices
- Diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and make repairs when possible
- Respond to service requests and maintenance items in a timely, professional manner
- Use testing devices, hand tools, and power tools to inspect, repair, and verify equipment operation
- Troubleshoot fueling equipment and related operating systems to identify root causes and restore service
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local safety practices, codes, regulations, and site requirements
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order and report issues as needed
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, customers, and team members through verbal, written, and electronic updates
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies as they arise
- Complete any other duties or responsibilities assigned to support operations
- Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring
- Mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to diagnosing equipment issues
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with limited supervision
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude in the field
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to keep supervisors informed through verbal, written, and electronic communication
- Ability to use computers for service-related tasks, including software installation and basic hardware or network components such as hard drives, routers, printers, and related equipment
- Must be available for on-call rotation
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a company-paid drug screen and DOT physical
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Work for extended periods on knees or in squatting positions
- Work for extended periods in aerial lifts or on ladders
- Work outdoors in hot and cold environments
- Bend and perform tasks regularly
- Pull and break pipes loose
- Wear and properly utilize fall protection equipment
- Enter confined spaces to perform tasks (when trained and authorized)
- Drive for extended periods of time safely and maintain focus while operating a vehicle
- Work on stomach to access underground equipment for extended periods
