Job Summary

Owl Moving LLC is seeking motivated, hardworking Movers/Helpers who are excited to be part of a new and expanding company. As a Mover/Helper, you’ll assist in safely and efficiently moving customers’ belongings, while providing friendly, professional service. In this early stage, hours may vary, so flexibility is essential. For the right applicant, this role offers significant growth potential, including opportunities for leadership positions, and management.

Responsibilities

• Packing and Loading: Wrap, pack, and carefully load customer belongings, focusing on safety and efficient use of space.
• Transportation Assistance: Help organize, secure, and transport items, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
• Unloading and Placement: Unload items and place them in the designated areas at customers' new locations, handling each item with care.
• Customer Service: Act as a friendly, respectful, and professional representative of Owl Moving LLC, addressing any customer questions or concerns.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other movers, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques to ensure a safe working environment.
• Clean-Up: Keep the moving truck and work areas clean and organized, assisting with post-move clean-up.

Requirements

• Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds or more and work physically for extended periods.
• Reliability and Flexibility: Being a new company, hours vary, so a flexible schedule is a must.
• Good Communication Skills: Able to communicate with customers and teammates in a positive, customer-focused way.
• Team Player: Works well with others, contributing to a respectful and professional team environment.
• Attention to Detail: Careful handling of customer belongings, ensuring everything arrives in top condition.
• Professional Appearance: Present a clean, professional appearance, wearing the Owl Moving LLC uniform.
• Experience Preferred but Not Required: Prior moving experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right candidate.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check to ensure customer security.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
