What are the responsibilities and job description for the OMS Head Girls Basketball Coach position at Owensboro Middle School?
This position will report directly to the Athletic director at Owensboro Middle School and the OHS varsity girls head basketball coach. Duties will include: supervision of student athletes at practices and games, upkeep of equipment, teaching safe fundamental basketball techniques, keeping up with mandatory paperwork and student athlete's grades, parent communication, overseeing both 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams and anything else deemed improtant by OMS administration. This position will be required to complete all health and safety course regulations required by OPS and the KHSAA. These will include the state safety course, CPR and AED certifications, and all OPS requirements.
