Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established
- Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications,
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Door and glass knowledge
- Common power tool operation
- Basic cleaning knowledge
- Must be able to read/interpret tickets
- Operate hot gun, caulk gun and pneumatic screw gun
- Strong knowledge of door types preferred
- Moderate knowledge of door/customer quality specs, pull placards and load list
- Use of small hand tools, basic math and reading a tape measure
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to
- Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
- High school diploma required
- 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, preferred
