Position Summary
The HR Professional, Science & Technology (S&T) provides administrative and operational support to S&T HR in support of the Global S&T organization. The HR professional builds trust and develops relationships with employees across S&T while maintaining a significant focus on leveraging HR systems and process expertise, ensuring employee data accuracy. This position partners with employees at all levels within the company and frequently interacts with senior leadership and administrative support.

Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to leaders and team members
- Provides administrative support for key HR processes such as Talent Review, Compensation Planning, and Performance Management
- Develops, prepares, and maintains comprehensive reports generated through Talent Center Workforce Analytics and Kronos Analytics, ensuring integrity and quality of data
- Continuously builds knowledge of the Science & Technology functions and HR systems to provide insightful analysis
- Seeks to identify gaps to drive efficiencies across S&T HR
- Owns creation of job requisitions, offer letters and management of pre-hire screening in support of the hiring process; Coordinates and leads new hire orientation; Creates new hire welcome gifts
- Manages FMLA, STD and other leaves of absence for S&T employees
- Maintains compliance for all HR related items, inclusive of I9 verifications, work authorization documentation, Employment Agreements, and various other documents to mitigate risk for the company
- Owns and leads contractor management process for all S&T contractors
- Supports the early career development program for S&T functions, and leads all aspects of the hiring and onboarding process for summer internships
- Streamlines processes to allow for more efficient output and eliminate waste
- Owns monthly reporting for Inclusion and Diversity, inclusive of insights and actions
- Ensures employee data integrity through accurate and timely processing of job changes, separations, hires and organizational changes
- Partners with the HR Center of Excellence to field and answer employee questions (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation)
- Provides functional and technical guidance on our corporate processes and systems
- Maintains appropriate electronic filing systems
- Communicates all HR related information to S&T or the Granville site, such as open jobs reports, benefits enrollment, etc.
- Serves as the focal point for all general HR administrative matters: meeting requests, supply orders, internal moves, booking conference rooms for large meetings and meeting facilities, updating address and distribution lists, etc.
- Performs general administrative duties such as set-up and management of meetings and calendars, assistance in the coordination of travel (domestic and international)
- Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews as needed; creates interview materials; maintains/updates information
Coordinates with various internal and external partners
- Partners with other HR professionals throughout Owens Corning and provides back-up support to others when needed
- Partners closely with peers to establish relationships, collaborate and best practice share
- Partners with the HR Center of Excellence to collaborate with and ensure understanding OC policies and processes
Supports Granville Site and Community Initiatives
- Lead and/or promote annual company initiatives such as: Granville Service Awards, Granville United Way Campaign, Wellness, Fall Festival, Children’s Holiday Party
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of administrative/Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple regions and cultures
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite - Strong Excel skills including working knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.
- Ability to travel as needed

- Experience communicating both internally and externally and effectively managing relationships at all levels
- Proven track record of success in collaborating with others and providing administrative support
