BIM Coordinator – New York City
A well-established MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its New York City team and support high-profile design projects across a variety of sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Revit and AutoCAD support to engineering and design teams across multiple disciplines
- Set up projects in Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform ongoing maintenance and organization of Revit models and AutoCAD drawings
- Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and production procedures
- Support project teams with BIM guidance, training, and best practices
- Manage and maintain BIM models while ensuring consistency with project requirements and industry standards
- Run clash detection and assist in identifying and resolving coordination issues
- Stay current with BIM technology trends and recommend tools or processes that improve project efficiency
- Evaluate and implement software solutions that align with project and business needs
- Promote collaboration and communication across project teams and disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Revit, including model linking and visibility management
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and xref functionality
- Familiarity with project setup and workflows within ACC/BIM 360
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
