We are looking for a welcoming, organized host who makes guests feel taken care of from the moment they arrive. Our hosts guide the first impression and help control the flow of service through thoughtful seating, accurate waitlist management, and strong communication.
Compensation:
- Starting at $12.00 per hour
- Additional tip share from the restaurant's support staff tip pool
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet every guests promptly and warmly, explain our walk-in seating process, and provide clear, professional communication throughout the wait.
- Maintain an accurate waitlist, communicate realistic wait estimates, and keep guests informed as seating availability changes.
- Follow our wave seating system, coordinate with servers and managers, and seat guests at clean, fully prepared tables.
- Communicate party sizes, table status, guest requests, and service concerns clearly; involve a manager when assistance is needed.
- Prepare tables and waters, wipe menus, maintain backup silverware, and keep the host stand and entrance clean and organized.
- Check bathrooms and assist with pre-bussing, running food with directed, and other service needs while maintaining coverage of the host stand.
- Complete opening, running, and closing sidewalk thoroughly so the next shift is set up for success.
