Job Overview
This is a local account delivering 100% no-touch refrigerated freight to stores. Drivers are home daily and run night routes for smoother driving and faster deliveries.
Must have 3 months recent experience
- Home Daily (very rare overnight hotel stay)
- Night shift start time: Between 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Includes weekends
- Work rotation:
- 6 days on / 34-hour restart
- Then 5 days on / 2 days off
- Heavy freight days: Wednesday – Saturday
Pay & Earnings
- Average weekly gross: $1,200 (full schedule required)
- Annual earning potential: Up to $70,000
- Pay type: Mileage pay or lane minimum pay (whichever is higher)
- Stop pay: $20 per stop
- Average miles: 1,250 miles per week
Freight & Routes
- 100% No-Touch Refrigerated Freight
- 1–3 routes per day
- 1–3 stops per route
- Delivery area: NC, SC, TN, VA (within 300 miles of Henderson DC)
- Occasional 10-hour break taken on the road
Equipment
- Day cabs only (slip seat)
- Trucks: International, Freightliner, Kenworth
- Nearby shop to reduce downtime
Requirements
- Must have personal transportation to and from the DC
- Must work nights, weekends, and holidays in your schedule
