Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care in a medical office.
- Perform tasks such as taking manual vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications/injections as directed.
- Patient call backs with results.
- Faxing, referrals, insurance authorizations and reporting results.
- Maintaining a high level professionalism and patient privacy.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Experience in a medical office required.
- Knowledge of primary care principles and gynecology preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, team members and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and caring attitude.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
