About the Role
As an Experienced HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems. This role emphasizes technical problem-solving, customer communication, and continuous skill development. You'll also have opportunities to mentor less experienced technicians and contribute to maintaining high service standards across the team.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
- Participation in a bi-monthly on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Ensure all service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and airflow-related issues
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support and mentor junior technicians as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service
What We're Looking For
- Minimum two years of HVAC service experience
- EPA certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including refrigerant, gas, and electric components
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of low-voltage controls and system operation
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to continue learning and growing professionally
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
