The VooDoo Daiquiris Supervisor will manage staff, handle cash, uphold company standards, and drive sales. Key responsibilities include training on daiquiri recipes, machine maintenance, and maintaining a high-energy, fun atmosphere.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily preparation and consistency of drink recipes
- Manage daiquiri stock/inventory and ensure frozen machines are filled, clean, and functioning
- Supervise shifts, organize schedules, and train both new and current staff
- Maintain attention to detail with cash management, till reconciliation, and reporting sales
- Manage the flow of guests and maintain high standards for cleanliness throughout the bar
- Lead and motivate team members while also maintaining accountability to standards
- Support staff during busy service periods
- Plan/manage schedules to ensure proper staffing at all times
- Uphold high standards of drink quality, presentation, and service
- Oversee stock control, order supplies, and foster positive vendor relationships
- Monitor financial performance including sales targets and cost control
- Professionally handle customer feedback and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, age verification procedures, and health and safety regulations
- Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance feedback
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 21 years old
- Must have a valid state driver's license
- High school diploma or GED; a degree in hospitality or business a plus
- Prior experience as a bartender or lead
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a high-energy hospitality environment
- Proven ability to hire, train, and schedule staff
- Ability to maintain professionalism responding to complaints/praises
- Accomplished mixology skills with extensive knowledge of daiquiri preparation and mixing machines
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, ability to manage budgets, and drive profitability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
