Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency is seeking a part -time overnight Emergency Veterinarian to work at our small animal practice location in Oviedo, FL - just minutes outside Orlando! We are in a busy and rapidly growing part of Seminole County.

We are open 24/7 at our ER hospital location to offer continuous patient care, allowing for flexible DVM work schedules.
We are currently seeking an experienced emergency veterinarian to join our team at OVCE. We are a 24 hour emergency hospital located in the beautiful town of Oviedo, Florida. Open all holidays and during states of emergency (i.e. hurricanes). Our state of the art facility was built in 2023. We are fully equipped with two surgery suites, CT scan, ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscopy, electrocautery, ligasure, oxygen support, two isolation wards, and 10 exam rooms.
The ideal candidate would be a team player, open to working overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and possesses strong emergency surgical skills. Our emergency veterinarians are responsible for intaking and treating a wide variety of surgical and medical cases.

Job Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years of emergency experience.
-Must be comfortable with performing GDV correction, splenectomy, exploratory laparotomy (to include RNA), pyometra, c-section, cystotomy, etc.
-Comfortable and confident in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical cases (i.e. addisonian crisis, ITP, IMHA, snake envenomation, heatstroke, etc.).
-Confident in managing multiple ICU patients.
-Comfortable treating the occasional exotic patient is a plus.
-Must be able to work at least 2 holiday shifts per year.
Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per hour
