What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED Custom Glass position at Oviedo Glass?
Oviedo Glass is now hiring for an EXPERIENCED Glass & Glazing Installer/ Estimator. The right candidate for this position has experience in measuring/ estimating custom glass shower enclosures, cutting/ polishing glass up to 1/2", and has excellent customer service skills. All tools will be provided, any travel to jobs will be in our provided company vehicle - Clean, valid FL DL a MUST
Job Duties Include, but not limited to:
- Travel to assigned jobsites with/without another Technician and take accurate measurements for estimation of various glass/glazing projects (shower glass, shelving, insulated glass, reglaze SS and DS windows and sliders, etc).
- Detailed communication with fabricators/vendors via phone, email, and fax to quote and order for various glass/ glazing jobs including custom glass shower enclosures, insulated glass, glass railings, sneeze guards, commercial and residential glazing including storefront
- Detailed communication with customers/ designers/ contractors via phone, email, and fax to provide estimates and information on various glass/glazing jobs
- Assisting Owners, Managers, Technicians, Other Departments, and Office Staff as needed
Starting wage dependent on demonstrable experience
