Job Overview
Overwatch Technologies is hiring a Full-Time Low Voltage Technician to support installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage systems for commercial projects.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean work, shows up on time, communicates well, and wants the opportunity to earn more through performance-based incentive pay.
Responsibilities
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling and systems, including:
- Security cameras / CCTV
- Network cabling
- Structured cabling
- Audio/video or related low voltage systems
Additional responsibilities include reading basic plans or work orders, maintaining a clean job site, documenting completed work, communicating with customers and team members, and following company safety standards.
Requirements
- Low voltage installation experience preferred 3 years
- Ability to program cameras using windows based computer
- Ability to pull, route, terminate, and label cable cleanly
- Basic hand and power tool experience
- Ability to troubleshoot system or wiring issues
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in attics, ceilings, or commercial job sites as needed
- Must be dependable and able to work full time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cameras, access control, alarms, or network cabling
- Ability to read basic drawings, floor plans, or wiring layouts
- OSHA or other safety training
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
Compensation
This position offers competitive hourly pay plus incentive pay based on performance, completed work, quality, and productivity.
