Game Day Statistician
Position Summary:
Overtime Elite is looking for a high-energy and detail-oriented Game Day Statistician to handle all game setup, create statistical documents and deliver accurate completion of statistics after games. This is an opportunity to gain experience with game-day operations in professional sports and the use of data for game decisions and player evaluations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Follow specific instructions for pre and post-game job duties
- Handle all pre-game setup: enter game information and rosters in statistics software.
- Craft and update all statistics information accurately throughout the entire game
- Preparing final and mid-game summary reports for the media and teams.
- Validate all statistics postgame to ensure accuracy in play-by-play events, locations, and timings.
- Organize and submit all final game files and documents.
- Other duties as assigned.

Time Commitment
- Game days (November-March) including nights and weekends.
- 5 - 8 hour shifts on game days depending on the number of games: the longest typically being 4:30 pm - 12:30 am on weekdays, 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm on weekends.
Education:
BS degree or currently pursuing a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar.
