Do you love working with kids and staying active? Overtime Athletics (OTA) is looking for fun, responsible, and high-energy coaches to lead after-school sports programs for elementary school students!
This is the perfect part-time job for college students, future teachers, or anyone who enjoys sports and making a positive impact. OTA provides the equipment, the curriculum, and the training. You bring the enthusiasm!
What You’ll Do
- Lead fun, structured sports classes for kids in preschool through 5th grade
- Create an encouraging, team-oriented environment where every child can succeed
- Arrive early to set up and stay after to clean up and dismiss students safely
- Teach basic skills in multiple sports using OTA’s curriculum
- Communicate positively with kids, parents, and school staff
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with kids (babysitting, coaching, camp counseling, etc.)
- Comfortable in an athletic or recreational setting
- Energetic, patient, and dependable
- Available weekday afternoons (generally 2:00–5:00 PM)
- Reliable transportation (mileage not reimbursed)
Job Details
- Part-time: typically 2-3 days per week
- Classes are 1 hour long, plus 15 minutes before and after for setup and dismissal (~1.5 hrs total/day)
- Class sizes range from 10 to 20 kids
- Each class usually includes both a lead and an assistant instructor
- Paid training and team meetings provided
