Role Description
We are looking for a Summer Camp Counselor for a full-time on-site role located in Charleston, SC. As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging with children, leading activities and games, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. Additional responsibilities include guiding and mentoring campers, providing support with daily schedules, and maintaining a positive atmosphere that promote teamwork and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in camp programs and leading group activities for children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with campers, parents, and team members
- Knowledge and certification in safety is a plus
- Background in education or youth development is beneficial
- Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to creating a positive experience for all participants
- Ability to collaborate with team members and adapt to dynamic situations
