What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Trim Form Operator position at Overman Buildings?
Trim form operator/Material handler
Must be flexible, self-motivated, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be able to effectively read a tape measure accurately and apply the measurements to forming metal trim. This includes but is not limited to inputting measurements into the automated break, setting up the slitter and shear.
-Must be able to comprehend and input measurements into a profile on the break to produce trim. Must be able to convert fractions into decimals to input into a profile. Must be able to navigate the computer on the break to find, create, or change profiles.
-Must have the ability to learn and understand various trim and their uses.
-Must be able to learn to prioritize jobs in sequential order with little supervision.
-Must cross train and learn to roll form metal
-Load customers using forklift as needed
-Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job employees will be required to stand, kneel , squat or climb on truck as needed. Employees will also be required to lift 65lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
