This position is ideal for a craftsman who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently or as part of a small crew, and has experience in both framing and finish carpentry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality carpentry work on custom residential projects, including framing, trim, cabinetry, and built-ins
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
- Collaborate with Site Superintendents and Project Managers to meet timelines and specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Use and maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving on site
- 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in custom homes or high-end renovations
- Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach job sites
- Experience with sustainable building practices is a plus
- Full-time position
- Competitive hourly rate at $25 to $30/hour, based on experience
