The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District seeks a dedicated and compassionate ABA Paraeducator to provide direct support to students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Working under the supervision of certified staff and in collaboration with the district's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the ABA Paraeducator will implement individualized educational and behavioral programming designed to promote student independence, academic achievement, communication, and social success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide direct one-to-one and small-group support to students as assigned.
-Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs), individualized education programs (IEPs), and instructional programs under the supervision of teachers and the BCBA.
-Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and evidence-based practices to support student learning and behavior.
-Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and academic data as directed.
-Reinforce communication, social skills, self-regulation, and independent living skills across school settings.
-Support students during academic instruction, transitions, lunch, recess, community-based activities, and other school-related experiences.
-Assist students in accessing the general education curriculum whenever appropriate.
-Promote positive behavior and utilize proactive intervention strategies to support student success.
-Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
-Collaborate effectively with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student growth.
-Maintain confidentiality regarding student information in accordance with district policies and state and federal regulations.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal, Special Education Administrator, BCBA, or designee.
