What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Room Attendant position at Overleaf Lodge & Spa?
Our Housekeeping staff work shifts starting at 9:25 am. We have a morning meeting to go over your assigned rooms for the day also any thing pertaining to events going on in the hotel that day. The position involves cleaning and stocking hotel rooms, as well as many other parts of our hotel including public bathrooms, conference rooms, elevators, lobbies, etc. Cleaning involves using the appropriate cleaner on different surfaces, following our housekeeping policy. Bending over, lifting up to 20 lbs, handling cleaning chemicals, handling dirty towels/linen, making beds, handling machine dishwashers, Restocking your housekeeping cart at the end of the day, completing your chores for the day and much more. Hours vary based on workload for each given day. However we like to give tasks for employees to keep their hours consistent.
