Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Document Scanning Operators. In this role, you will operate high-speed document scanners to digitize sensitive client records for businesses across various industries. Accuracy, speed, and strict adherence to confidentiality protocols are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare physical documents for scanning (removing staples, sorting, organizing)
- Operate commercial-grade document scanners and related equipment
- Perform quality control checks to ensure scanned images are complete, legible, and correctly indexed
- Organize and box scanned documents for secure storage or return to clients
- Maintain detailed digital and paper logs of all scanned materials
- Follow strict chain-of-custody and confidentiality procedures at all times
- Meet or exceed daily production targets while maintaining 99.9% accuracy
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 30 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows environment, file management)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
Preferred (but not required)
- Previous experience in document scanning, mailroom, or records management
- Familiarity with document management software or imaging systems
