Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their treatment journey. The Treatment Coordinator will work closely with both patients and healthcare providers to facilitate treatment plans, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Manage medical records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with medical billing inquiries.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for efficient patient management.
- Conduct intake assessments and review care plans to ensure comprehensive patient support.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing front desk operations in a busy clinic environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is required; dental office experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, insurance verification, and documentation review.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
