Front End Lead
Job Type: Full-Time (32–35 hours per week)
Location: Overland Grocery Outlet – Boise, Idaho
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Front End Lead to oversee daily front-end operations and support our cashier team. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth checkout operations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized and efficient front-end environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who leads by example, is comfortable handling customer concerns, and can effectively train and support team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cashiering duties while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve POS-related issues
- Provide register overrides and front-end support as needed
- Train and coach new cashiers on procedures and customer service
- Support and assist cashiers during busy periods
- Maintain front-end merchandising, organization, and cleanliness
- Ensure a positive and efficient checkout experience for all customers
- Communicate effectively with store leadership regarding front-end operations
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience required
- Leadership or key-holder experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling customer concerns and problem-solving
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Availability
Applicants must have daytime, evening, and weekend availability, including Sundays.
