Our busy endoscopy department is seeking candidates for procedural nursing roles with the opportunity to gain knowledge in GI procedures, pulmonary procedures and assisting with injections for our physiatry service line.
Job Description
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, and hospital endoscopy experience is highly preferred. Charge Nurse experience is also desired.
Responsibilities:
- Gaining knowledge in endoscopic GI procedures, pulmonary procedures and assisting with injections for our physiatry service line
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license)
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification required
- One year of Medical Surgical Nursing experience required
- Hospital endoscopy experience preferred
- Charge Nurse experience desired
