We are currently hiring a Service Coordinator to support our growing crane service operations. In this office-based role, you will serve as the central hub for field service coordination, managing technician scheduling, dispatching, customer requests, and work orders for overhead cranes and hoists. Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, processing service requests for overhead crane inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, modernizations, and emergency service calls.
• Schedule and dispatch service technicians efficiently, balancing workloads based on skills, location, availability, travel time, and job priority while helping minimize customer downtime.
• Create, update, track, and close service work orders in our field service management system.
• Coordinate parts, tools, safety equipment, and technical documentation required for each job.
• Monitor job progress in real-time, adjust schedules as needed, and provide timely status updates to customers and technicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including job notes, inspection reports, technician certifications, and compliance records (OSHA and ASME B30 standards).
• Assist with small repair quotes, service performance metrics, and daily coordination with the parts and service teams.
• Ensure all activities prioritize safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a technical field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, or administrative support in field service, industrial maintenance, crane service, heavy equipment, or trades environments.
• Prior experience with overhead cranes or hoists (as a technician or coordinator) is a strong plus — we provide training on our specific systems and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), CRM/ERP systems, scheduling software, and GPS tracking tools.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss technical details clearly.
• Understanding of basic mechanical/electrical concepts and safety regulations (OSHA, ASME) is highly valued.
• Must pass background check and drug screening. Valid driver’s license preferred.
