The Job
You’d be working our showroom, helping customers who walk in, call, or email. Our product lines are windows, entry doors, fireplaces, and garage doors — homeowners picking out a replacement, contractors pricing a job, people who just need a part. This is not cold calling and it’s not driving a territory. The work comes to you; your job is to know the products and help people buy the right thing.
You will:
- Work with walk-in customers in the showroom on windows, entry doors, fireplaces, and garage doors
- Answer phone and email inquiries and follow up on leads
- Build quotes and proposals, and follow up until the job closes or the customer says no
- Learn the product lines well enough to explain real differences — sizes, options, materials, lead times
- Coordinate with the office and install crews so what gets sold is what gets scheduled
- Enter orders accurately and keep customer records current
- Keep the showroom and displays clean and presentable
What We Need
- Sales or customer service experience. Retail, building materials, or home improvement is ideal, but we care more about whether you can talk to people and follow through.
- Willing to learn four product lines. You will not know fireplaces and window options on day one — nobody does. We’ll train you.
- Comfortable with numbers: measurements, quotes, and pricing
- Basic computer skills — email, order entry, quoting software
- Organized enough to follow up on every quote without being reminded
- Professional and patient with customers who don’t know what they want yet
- Available to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule
Construction, building products, or trade knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
