Duties
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring every shopper feels valued and appreciated
- Assist customers with product selections, demonstrations, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash and credit card payments with precision
- Supervise daily store operations including merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining product displays to attract customer attention
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions
- Oversee stock levels, coordinate inventory counts, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized
- Support team members through coaching on phone etiquette, communication skills, and retail math to improve overall performance
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a retail environment or similar leadership role
- Strong background in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and POS systems
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demonstrations in a retail or grocery store setting
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of retail math principles including basic math skills necessary for transactions and inventory management
- Prior experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is preferred but not required
