- Monday - Friday, 8 Hour Shift, Starting at 7:30am
- Saturday: Rotating Half-Day Shifts

Requirements:
- No experience required, we will train
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand and work with common power tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Pass drug test and background check
- Forklift certification preferred
- Great communication skills
- Must be able to lift to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet.
- Must be able to read and write legibly and accurately.
- Must be able to climb and work from a 12’ step ladder.
- Must have basic arithmetic skills.
- Must have a neat & professional appearance.
Position Summary:
As an Apprentice Garage Door Technician, you’ll install, service, and repair garage door systems that protect homeowners and their property. This full-time role offers $18–$22/hr overtime and bonus opportunities, hands-on training, and the chance to build a long-term career with a company known for over 100 years of dependable, reliable service.
This role is built for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn a skilled trade the right way. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, develop real technical skills, and become part of a team trusted by the community for generations—where quality workmanship and reliability aren’t optional, they’re expected.
Core Responsibilities:
- Install and service residential garage doors, garage door openers, retractable awnings, and garage storage systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs or replacements efficiently and safely.
- Respond promptly to service calls, including urgent or priority repairs affecting home safety and access.
- Work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and property managers to ensure accurate installation and service.
- Educate customers on product operation, maintenance, and safety best practices.
- Complete accurate record keeping for customer billing, service tickets, and time tracking.
- Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.
- Uphold warehouse and job-site housekeeping standards.
- Participate in ongoing product and safety training.
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver respectful, high-level customer service at all times.
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and drug-free workplace requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager or Field Supervisor.
Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
